You see the,"You are here"sign obtrusively displayed in front of you...now what? You have a map and a moral compass. What other factors will you need take into account when charting your course?

We are all given the plot- it's up to us to decide how to sow it. How will you sow it?...with continuity and purpose. In order to reach your goal, you must first know where you stand. Then, you need to identify and recognize how to serve and supply the gap. What gap? The steps you must take in order to achieve your goal. This is the journey. The environment is a reflection of the people in it. So my friend, I ask you this: what environment do you wish to shape for yourself, and others around you? What does it look like? How does it feel? Describe your landscape and its ambiance.

I once heard a story about a man who was reading a newspaper on a typical lazy Sunday afternoon with a coffee in his hand, and his son seated next to him- eagerly awaiting his father’s attention. Every few minutes, the boy would ask, “are you finished reading the newspaper yet?”…and his father said, “no, not yet- you’ll have to wait”. The boy asked again and again, until finally, the man- out of pure frustration, shredded the newspaper into pieces. He handed the boy some tape, and the fragmented newspaper, and said emphatically, “here- put this puzzle together”. The boy looked at him in bewilderment, and, after some time, he entertained the idea of a makeshift jigsaw, and attempted to make it whole again. A few minutes later, the boy exclaimed, “I’m all done!” The man sighed in disgust, hoping it would have taken the kid longer…until he witnessed that the boy actually assembled the pieces to make a neat and wholesome looking globe. In amazement, the man exclaimed, “wow! How did you put the pieces together so quickly and intact?” And the boy replied, “there was a man on the back of it- I put the man back together. And with a glimmer in the man’s eye, he realized, “yes!...when the man is altogether – his world is altogether.…”
Is your world altogether? What pieces to you need to put back together- to make yourself whole?
